How To Create Dramatic Smoky Eyes with Makeup
There are several ways to create a dramatic eye or evening eye look using a few tricks. Depending on how adventurous you are will determine what effects you are willing to create but anyone can have a look that makes them instantly sexy and gorgeous.
If you are under the age of 30 a simple pop of bright color on the eyes followed by black eye liner and lots of black mascara will create and instant fun and adventurous look. Choose a color that is contrasting to your eye color.
Create A Smoky Eye
Another way to create a dramatic sexy eye is to do a smokey eye. This is a great trick for evening looks, both formal and flirty and really makes eyes standout.
1. Start by choosing a shimmery shade in a light color, note you do not have to use black and gray. This will look too harsh against most people's skin. Choosing browns or purples will allow you to try out a smokey eye with ease.
2. Sweep the shimmer shade across the brow bone, and on the inside corner of the eye.
3. Next take a darker color in a similar hue and blend on the inside crease of the eye from corner to corner. Using this same color follow up underneath the bottom lashes along the lash line.

4. Using a pencil liner in the same hue or in black, line the top lashes getting as close to the root of the eyelash as possible.
5. Finally, sweep on lots of black mascara on top lashes only going from the inside corners out. Choose a mascara that has the smallest wand possible to make sure you can get every lash. Make sure to get all the way to the root so there is no gap from eyeliner to mascara. Video Guide - How To Create Smoky Eye by MAC Makeup Artist.
